One application from tender to payment
What you quote becomes a project; the project is planned in work orders, carried out with mobile work reports, then certified and invoiced. No copying data from one program to another.
Quotes (estimates)
Every offer you present to the customer. Each line is a line item — the work to be done — with its measurements, price and amount, and it prints with your company's own layout.
Projects (sites)
The project is created from the quote. Work reports and purchase costs are allocated to each project, and each line item shows the planned, completed, certified and invoiced quantity.
Work orders
Job planning. Each employee receives on their phone the work orders assigned to them for that day.
Work reports
Date, customer, project, type, workers and their hours, vehicle and mileage, start and finish time, materials taken and materials used, and whether the report should generate a delivery note for invoicing.
Certificates and progress
For each line item, progress is recorded on each date: completed work is certified and invoiced cumulatively, without losing track of what remains to be done.
Invoicing
Manual or automatic invoices: from delivery notes pending invoicing, from project progress (cumulative invoicing) and from each customer's recurring services.

With travel time on routes, the time each employee picks up the vehicle and the time they arrive are used to split costs across the day's reports.

Which companies is Gestrab for?

Does the field staff app work with no signal?
Yes. The mobile app works offline: you can work on site even with no signal, and data is synced when requested. It runs on Android, iPhone, tablets and also on a computer.
Can the customer sign the work report?
Yes. The customer signs the report on the phone, the signature is recorded in the system and, once finished, Gestrab emails the signed report to the customer.
How are the costs of each project calculated?
Per work report and per project: labour from each report's hours and the hourly cost, materials consumed, overheads allocated on a weighted basis and travel time split across the day's reports.
Does it handle cumulative and certificate-based invoicing?
Yes. Each project tracks planned, completed, certified and invoiced quantities; progress is invoiced cumulatively. There are also manual invoices and automatic invoicing of pending delivery notes and recurring services.
Does it include accounting?
Gestrab offers optional integrated accounting, with direct connection to the SII (Spain's immediate VAT reporting system) and official tax forms. If you prefer another accounting program, Gestrab generates the exchange files to integrate with it.
